Tuesday (01/14): Roatan and Mahogany Beach (part 2)

After our snorkel excursion, we headed back to our ship to drop off our bags and change.

We got back to the ship an hour before our last call. While in our cabin, the Captain made an announcement. Normally the announcements are made in the hallways and not in our cabins. I figured this was something important or an emergency of some sort. The Captain told us there was an increase in activity of the Noro Virus. Meaning more passengers and possible crew members were sick this week. He reiterated about washing hands with soap and water and using the hand sanitizers around the ship.

Hubby and I have been diligently scrubbing our hands while in the cabin. I also bring along a small bottle of sanitizer with me while on the ship. I have a funny feeling that we're going to spend a length of time in Port of Houston...waiting for the ship to be fully sanitized and scrubbed. We have a backup plan B...head back to Kemah Boardwalk.
