Good Morning! Embarkation Day

We got up and went out on an early morning walk. It's about 57 degrees and chilly. We saw the Emerald Princess in port at Pier 2. Beautiful!

One thing I love about Florida is seeing a lot of people (different ages) up early enjoying their walk, jogging, or running.

Our plan is to embark the ship around 1:30pm today and do our ship exploring ritual.

Here it is in port (pic take with Blackberry):

Update:

We embarked the Emerald Princess around 2pm. We ended up in long lines to get into the terminal. Once we got through security and made our way to the check-in desk, it took us only 15 minutes to get to our mini-suite. During that time, we stopped to get our cruise picture taken and then another picture for our ID.

We explored this lovely ship. It was very crowded as we were sailing off around 5pm. DH & I went to the Spa so he could make a hair cut appointment for this evening.

My luggage arrived around 4pm. DH's arrived 30 minutes after that.

We attended the mandatory muster drill around 4:30pm.

I took lots of pictures today. Inside and outside the ship.

This evening in the Horizon Court and Caribe Cafe was the Seafood Extravaganza Buffet. My eyes popped out at the amount of seafood I saw there.

We were tired puppies, but managed to stay up until our normal "lights out" time of 10pm. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
