Day 3 - Aruba...A Late Post

We woke up around 7am to find we were already docked in Aruba. We met our excursion group at 8:50 inside the cruise terminal. We were taken to the south western part of the island where we boarded a water ferry to De Palm Island. Here we had free reign of this little island for some fun in the sun.

Here is DH snorkeling around. There were 3 platforms with steps where we could snorkel from. We saw a lot of "big" fish here.

There is also a fun water park located on this small island. I got a big kick out of watching kids, young and old, going down the water slides or getting dumped with a huge bucketful of water.

DePalm Island has outside shower facilities, change/locker room, bathrooms, and lots of shaded areas.

We stayed on De Palm Island until 1pm and headed back to the ship to change. We ventured out to do some window shopping and exploring on our own. It was one hot afternoon. Felt like 90 degrees.

We sailed away around 6pm. We had a great time here and enjoyed the sunshine.

Tonight was Rijstafel-Creole Buffet in the Caribe Cafe.
