Day 2 - Another Day @ Sea

Last night, we passed between Cuba and Haiti and on course towards Aruba. We were getting wind whipped as DH and I walk around the top open decks. We ended up finding a quiet spot to sit in the warm sun. Our balcony (port side) has been in the shade for the last day. Towards the latter part of the week as we head north, we'll be in total sunshine. Looking forward to that.

Today is another lounge around day for us. We are definitely in R&R mode and looking forward to Aruba tomorrow morning. This is our first cruise where we've had two straight days at sea. I think by the end of this evening we'll be ready for land.

I'm sitting in the Internet Cafe, trying to get pictures loaded. Unfortunately, my XD card won't work with the reader. Another snafu.

As we were getting our lunch, we noticed the ship was rocking and rolling a bit. Not as bad as when we were on the Sea Princess two years ago. We walked by the pool areas to see the water sloshing around like a little tidal wave.

For lunch, we went to the Caribe Cafe for some sushi. We ended up with California rolls, salmon rolls, vegetarian spring rolls, noodles, dumplings, etc.

In the afternoon, we took a quick trip up Horizon (deck 15) to get our teas. I then headed down to the International Cafe (deck 5) to get the freshly baked peanut butter cookies for myself. I got DH his oatmeal cookies. We had our afternoon tea and cookies on our balcony, watching the water go by. Life couldn't be better.

Later in the afternoon, we went to MUTS to watch the NFL playoffs.
